‘I’m Coming For Blood’ – Nong-O Gaiyanghadao Warns Liam Harrison Ahead Of World Title Fight
Nong-O Gaiyanghadao issued a stern warning to Liam “Hitman” Harrison while preparing for their ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title showdown next month.
On August 26, the longtime divisional king will defend the belt against Harrison in the co-main event of ONE on Prime Video 1: Moraes vs. Johnson II, which airs live in United States primetime.
Both men have expressed great respect for one another, but Nong-O is approaching their matchup at the Singapore Indoor Stadium with intent to do damage.
The Thai legend made that clear in an Instagram video earlier this week, which included the message, “The Hitman is on my hit list” and the following caption:
“Don’t mistake my kindness for weakness. Once the cage is locked, there is no escape. I’m coming for blood.”
Meanwhile, Harrison is known for his fierce, aggressive style, and he doesn’t take a backward step against any opponent.
It appears that mindset extends to social media, as the English superstar replied to Nong-O’s Instagram post by promising to meet fire with fire.
Harrison wrote:
“That makes 2 of us ….. BRING IT”
Nong-O and Liam Harrison Excited To Square Off On August 26
Nong-O Gaiyanghadao and Liam Harrison are both extremely motivated for their World Title fight at ONE on Prime Video 1 – especially because they hold each other in such high regard.
In fact, the dominant ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion recently admitted that he’s been a huge fan of “Hitman” for many years.
He told ONE Championship:
“It might seem ridiculous to say that my favorite Muay Thai fighter and kickboxer is Liam Harrison, my next challenger. I’ve been following him for quite a long time. I love his style. His fights are always exciting and fun to watch.
“For our World Title fight, I believe that both of us will go all out. And I am sure that it will end with a knockout, either for him or me.”
Likewise, Harrison has always admired the legendary Thai striker.
But while he’s thrilled to be facing his Muay Thai hero in the Circle, the 36-year-old also thinks he can hand Nong-O his first defeat in ONE Championship.
“Hitman” said:
“If anyone could knock him out, it’s me. Nobody he has fought with punches like I do. If I land clean on anyone in 4-ounce gloves, they will go.”
