Niclas “Dreamchaser” Larsen

Niclas Larsen is eager to re-introduce his unorthodox style and never-say-die attitude to ONE Championship’s global fan base, which has made him a highly admirable figure in both the European Muay Thai and kickboxing circuits.

Larsen was an energetic kid who enjoyed a nice childhood in his native Denmark. Though he was considered popular in school, he didn’t necessarily excel in the classroom. Fortunately for him, he discovered Muay Thai and began his martial arts journey at age 17.

Despite having a late start, “Dreamchaser” found his footing in the discipline at a rapid pace, and four years later, he competed for the first time, winning the bout via second-round TKO. That debut victory provided the young Dane with the belief that he could have a fruitful career in Muay Thai and kickboxing. He continued to hone his craft at Extreme Muay Thai in Koge, Denmark, and just a couple of months later, he turned pro.

Larsen built a solid resume in the years to follow, defeating several of Europe’s top names. But in 2014, his career came to an abrupt halt when he was diagnosed with a staph infection. The diagnosis was so bad, he nearly had his leg amputated.

Two years later, Larsen returned to the ring and his fire burned brighter than ever. The Dane resumed his quest for greatness, ultimately winning the IMC World Super Welterweight Championship in 2020 and the WBC Muay Thai World Super Welterweight Title in 2021.

And then in 2022, ONE Championship offered the striking dynamo a contract to compete on the global stage.

“Dreamchaser” may still be searching for his first victory in the world’s largest martial arts organization, but between his skills, forward-thinking mentality, and ability to overcome life’s toughest obstacles, there’s no doubt he’ll find a way to rise to the top and march toward ONE World Title gold.
