Jonathan Di Bella

Jonathan Di Bella seemed destined for martial arts greatness ever since he was a toddler.

At 2 years old, the Italian-Canadian began training at his family’s gym in Quebec, where he was mentored by his father, a two-time Kickboxing World Champion.

Di Bella eventually had his first kickboxing matchup when he was 10 years old, and at age 19 he turned professional. As a determined kickboxer, he began competing all over North America, including at the iconic Madison Square Garden.

Prior to entering the ONE Championship Circle, he racked up an undefeated 10-0 record in the striking arts and earned multiple regional and international titles. Di Bella also held his own under boxing rules, where he amassed a spotless record.

His crowning moment came in October 2022, when he faced Chinese superstar “The Fighting Rooster” Zhang Peimian for the vacant ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Title in his ONE Championship debut. After an intense and thrilling five-round battle, Di Bella emerged victorious, becoming the new divisional king and solidifying his family’s martial arts legacy.

Unfortunately, Di Bella had to vacate his throne after falling ill on the day of the weigh-ins before his scheduled second World Title defense in April 2024. But with that setback now behind him, the former divisional king has only one mission in ONE Championship — to win back the belt he once held.
