“Super” Sage Northcutt

Multiple-time Karate World Champion “Super” Sage Northcutt stands tall among the brightest young MMA stars of today.

A lifelong martial artist, Northcutt has been training under the instruction of his father since he was 4 years old, and he racked up incredible accomplishments in karate. Overall, the Texas native won an astounding 77 World Titles as a youth and was even inducted into the Black Belt Magazine Hall of Fame in 2012. ​

​Despite being thrust into the spotlight at such a young age, “Super Sage” never lost his focus. He remained dedicated to his dream of becoming a professional athlete in the combat sports realm, even making the switch from karate to kickboxing, where he racked up a spotless 15-0 record.

But soon, Northcutt put all of his time and energy into MMA, and the decision quickly paid off. The youngster began his run with seven consecutive wins in top North American promotions. Coming off three straight victories in the UFC, he joined ONE Championship and was met with nearly a career-ending knockout in his first bout.

Now, after four years removed from the Circle healing some injuries, the 26-year-old Northcutt is ready to kick off his comeback and continue his quest to become an unprecedented three-sport World Champion (MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing). It all begins with Pakistani standout Ahmed Mujtaba at ONE Fight Night 10 on May 5.
