Watch The ONE 167: Tawanchai Vs. Nattawut II Weigh-Ins And Hydration Tests
ONE 167: Tawanchai vs. Nattawut II on Prime Video is almost here, and there’s just one final hurdle for the 22 world-class athletes who are set to compete in U.S. primetime this Friday, June 7.
To make their matchups official, each fighter must make weight on the scale and submit a hydration sample to confirm they’re ready for battle at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
Fans can follow the proceedings live by watching the video below beginning at 6 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT this Thursday, June 6.
The lineup features some of ONE Championship’s biggest names, with a massive World Championship clash at the top of the card.
Following a razor-close decision victory in their first encounter, Tawanchai PK Saenchai will defend his ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title against fellow Thai superstar “Smokin” Jo Nattawut.
Nattawut shocked his compatriot with a strong late-notice performance when they met in a three-round kickboxing thriller last October, but with his belt on the line, Tawanchai is eager to end their rivalry with an emphatic victory this time.
In the co-main event, longtime ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon will square off with hard-hitting foe Denis “The Bosnian Menace” Puric in a kickboxing battle.
Puric has been calling out “The Iron Man” for several years, and he’s planning to score the biggest win of his career. However, Rodtang wants to make “The Bosnian Menace” regret signing on the dotted line by finishing the brash striker.
Fans can also look forward to the return of ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Champion Mikey “Darth Rigatoni” Musmeci, who is moving up to bantamweight against the last man to beat him, Gabriel Sousa.
Sousa sent shockwaves through the grappling community when he submitted “Darth Rigatoni” in 2021. Musumeci has been on an incredible tear since then, and he’ll be looking for revenge versus the Brazilian star this Friday.
Also on the card, UK legend Liam “Hitman” Harrison is stepping back into the Circle against Katsuki Kitano after an injury almost forced him into retirement, while ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Champion Kade Ruotolo is making his eagerly anticipated MMA debut against Blake Cooper.
Plus, former Kickboxing World Champions Sitthichai “Killer Kid” Sitsongpeenong and Masaaki Noiri will square off in a featherweight contest, and fan favorites Denice “The Menace” Zamboanga, Johan “Jojo” Ghazali, and Itsuki “Android 18” Hirata are all set to compete.
