Full Card Revealed For ONE Friday Fights 66 On June 7
This Friday, June 7, the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, will host another action-packed fight card loaded with elite martial artists.
Set to air live in Asia primetime, ONE Friday Fights 66 offers 12 electrifying matchups across three different combat sports disciplines, giving fans plenty to look forward to.
In the main event, 21-year-old Thai sensation Kongchai Chanaidonmueang will continue his climb toward a coveted spot on ONE’s global roster when he squares off with three-time ISKA Kickboxing World Champion Akram “La Pepite” Hamidi in an explosive strawweight Muay Thai clash.
A former Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion, Konghchai has lost to just one man across seven bouts in ONE and hopes to make Hamidi the next victim of his well-rounded game.
But after going the distance in a kickboxing bout against reigning ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Prajanchai PK Seanchai in his most recent outing, “La Pepite” has proven to have the technique and granite chin to be a contender at the world-class level.
Also, in 127-pound catchweight Muay Thai action, young rising stars Kaotaem Fairtex and Wanpadej Looksuan will throw down in a contest that promises fireworks.
At just 19 years old, Kaotaem has established himself as one of Thailand’s talents to watch, but after suffering a defeat in his promotional debut last July, he’s hungry to live up to the hype.
Wanpadej, meanwhile, scored an emphatic knockout in his ONE debut and now looks to keep that momentum going in his much-anticipated sophomore appearance.
Lower on the card, Thai phenom Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri and Uzbek brawler Mavlud Tifiyev will collide in a can’t-miss bantamweight Muay Thai tilt. The elite strikers met last June at ONE Friday Fights 20, and while Yod-IQ earned a decision, he was pushed to the limit by Tifiyev’s aggressive boxing attack.
Finally, the card will kick off with an intriguing strawweight MMA contest, as talented Russian standout Torepchi Dongak hopes to give a rude welcome to Japanese scrapper Hiroto Masuda, who aims to make waves in his ONE debut.
